GE International proposes to build oil-rig equipments factory

Deputy head of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (EZ) Administration, Nguyen Ngoc Toan, on November 7 received representatives of GE International Group (US), seeking investment opportunities in Nhon Hoi EZ.

An oil-rig equipments factory was proposed to build on an area of nearly 20 hectares in Nhon Hoi EZ with the capital of US$40-50 million, according to GE International's representatives.

80-90% of equipments will be used for export. 400 people will be employed.
