Vinh Son 2,3 hydroelectric projects granted license

Binh Dinh Province People's Committee on November 24 held a granting ceremony for Vinh Son 2 and Vinh Son 3 hydroelectric projects worth nearly VND1,785 billion invested by Vinh Son-Song Hinh Hydroelectric Joint Stock Company.

Under the project, Vinh Son 2 and 3 hydroelectric plants will have the capacity of 80 and 12 MW, respectively. An area of 669 hectares in Communes of An Toan (An Lao District), Vinh Kim (Vinh Thanh) in Binh Dinh and Son Lang Commune, K'Bang District in Gia Lai Province will be used for projects.

Two plants are expected to be built next year and full operational in the fourth quarter of 201.
