Dao Tan Tuong Theatre to perform in Champassak

Artists of Dao Tan Tuong (Vietnamese classical opera) Theatre on November 27 toured the Lao province of Champassak to perform at the Vietnam-Laos cultural festival, marking the 31st anniversary of the National Day of Lao People's Democratic Republic which falls on December 2.

The festival will be held by Laos-based Vietnam Information and Culture Center, Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse, and Champassak Department of Information and Culture.

Vietnamese artists will perform two pieces of Vietnamese folk music, Cham dance entitled "Spring on the top of tower", and an excerpt "Dieu Thuyen enjoys moonlight" of the play "Phung Nghi Dinh" and another from the play "Love story of princess Sa Mi".

Also, on this occasion, 50 photos about Binh Dinh's land and people and the relationship between Binh Dinh and Champassak and other southern provinces of Laos are expected to be exhibited at the exhibition with the theme "Vietnam-Laos on the way to development".
