Binh Dinh registered an industrial production value of VND4,826 billion, an increase of 30 percent over 2006.
State owned enterprises were up 29.7 percent, private sector surged by 29.1 percent, and foreign-invested sector contributed 99.6 percent.
The processing industry was up 33.3 percent, accounting for 93 percent of the industrial production value, such as livestock food (a surge of 179 percent), RS sugar (70 percent), frozen sea products (57 percent), ashlar paving stone (51.6 percent), and refined timber (33.6 percent).
The industrial production value is expected to record at VND6,030 billion, a rise of 25 percent over 2007.
