Invest VND 2,500 billion (USD 156,250) to build a pulp processing plant

A project of establishing a 150,000-ton annual capacity plant of pulp processing  is expected to be carried out by Saigon Investment Corp. The plant will be built at Nhon Hoa Commune, An Nhon District with VND 2,500 billion (USD 156,250) worth of total investment capital. A 45,000-hectare eucalyptus and acacia forest will simutaneously be planted as pulp material.

Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee has just asked Vietnamese Central Government to approve the project. If the plant is put into operation, the pulp material forests in Binh Dinh Province and other neighbour province will be exploited; afforestation will be developed; local ecology will be improved; living standard of local people will be ameliorated.
