VASCO replaces Vietnam Airlines to operate routes to Quy Nhon

Yesterday afternoon (6th March, 2007), at headquarter of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee, Mr. Le Huu Loc, Vice-chairman of the Committee held a meeting with Mr. Bui Ngoc Hoang, leader of Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO- a member of Vietnam Airlines Corporation).

“ VASCO starts to supply air services on routes to Quy Nhon as replacement of Vietnam Airlines on 25th March. This change is to enhance professionalism of Vietnam Airlines Corporation’s members” said Mr. Hoang.

According to Mr. Loc, there is increasing demand of Hanoi-Quy Nhon, Ho Chi Minh-Quy Nhon flights. Hence, it is necessary and urgent to operate more flights on these domestic routes.

Mr. Hoang committed to keep on supplying good services on Quy Nhon routes. He also suggested that the provincial leaders should offer favourable conditions for smooth operation of VASCO in Binh Dinh. In return, VASCO would have more new flights if needed.
