Vice-chairman of Binh Dinh Province’s People Committee Le Huu Loc ( head of Phu Cat airport’s security steering boad) on Wednesday (11st April) steered the implementation of security precautions for Phu Cat airport.
Accordingly, to continue protecting Phu Cat airport’s security next time, Mr. Loc required No.940 air force regiment and Phu Cat airport to coordinate with People Committees of An Nhon, Phu Cat, Tay Son districts, and Cat Tan (Phu Cat district), Nhon Hau, Nhon Thanh, Nhon My communes as well in promoting propaganda about the Phu Cat airport’s importance so that local residents can actively take part in the protection of Phu Cat airport.
No.490 airforce regiment on its own initiative plans for Phu Cat airport’s secure protection at particular times, especially in national holidays, the occasion of Vietnam’s international conferences, central or provincial conferences, the arrival – departure of diplomatic delegations and Communist party leadership at Phu Cat airport, creating favourable conditions for passengers and ensuring absolute security for the airport.
