On Thursday (12nd April) Mr. Ho Nghia Dung, member of Central Communist Party, Minister of Transport of Vietnam, chairman of National Traffic Security Committee, held a meeting in Binh Dinh.
Mr. Vu Hoang Ha, member of Central Communist Party, chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee preliminarily reported activities of economy-society, transport and traffic security in Binh Dinh with the focus on transport, suggesting the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam to upgrade No.19 and No.1D highways, Nhon Hoi-Tam Quan coastal road, Phu Cat airport, increase the number of flights to Binh Dinh, and steer the movement of Quy Nhon station.
Minister Ho Nghia Dung acknowledged these suggestions and said that it was necessary to have an effective cooperation between Binh Dinh Province and the Ministry to conduct the work well. As for No.1D highway upgrade, Mr.Ho Nghia Dung assigned the Investment and Project Department to list it in the budget for planning. With Phu Cat airport improvement and the flight increase, the Ministry will consider and decide soon.
The Minister applauded bus project in Binh Dinh and encouraged the province to develop this model nationwide.
