The central inspection delegation of forest fire prevention and fighting, led by deputy director of forest management bureau Doan Minh Tuan, on May 8 arrived in Binh Dinh.
The delegation inspected the situation in Tay Son district and held a meeting with the provincial forest fire prevention and fighting steering Board and leaders of districts and city. The delegation assessed Binh Dinh’s forest fire prevention and fighting has been seriously conducted according to the direction of the Government and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Binh Dinh is also a province where there hasn’t been any big forest fire for many years, and most forest fire was timingly put out without severe damage. However, due to the lack of equipments, the propaganda on forest fire prevention and fighting needs to be topped. Especially it’s essential to have timely measures.
On behalf of the province, the director of Agriculture and Rural Development Department Vo Thanh Tien petitioned the Central to support the expenditure and equipments for Binh Dinh in forest fire prevention and fighting.
