According to the ranking in the annual Who’s who of the PSA Journal (Photographic Society of America) issued in May 2007, the photographer Dao Tien Dat is ranked 10^th out of the most 24 world excellent photographers in the genre of black-and-white photo.

The PSA Journal’s ranking is conducted annually, basing on the award winning photos and photos chosen for the exhibition (one point for each) at the international photograph contest held worldwide. Accordingly, there are two Vietnamese photographers in the top 24 of the most world excellent photographers in the genre of black-and-white photo in 2006, that is, Dao Tien Dat ranked 10^th with 100 points and Le Hong Linh (Ho Chi Minh city) ranked 18^th with 63 points.

Also, in April 2007 three Dao Tien Dat’s photos: Do nho (tutor), Don chiec (Single), and Non Go Gang 2 (Go Gang conical hat) were chosen to exhibit at the international museum of photography (MIF) in Spain
