VND10 billion (US$6.25 million) for water and environmental sanitation programme

Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee has approved the expenditure and plan of preferential loan for peasants to conduct the water and environmental sanitation programme.

Accordingly, provincial People’s Committee decided to apportion VND10 billion (US$6.25 million) among peasants of seven provincial districts, including An Nhon, Phu Cat, Phu My, Tuy Phuoc, Hoai Nhon, Hoai An and Tay Son so that they can borrow the preferential capital to conduct the programme.

The preferential capital will be loaned to peasants of above districts to design the clean water supplies, and sanitary facilities (biogas trench), etc. The district-level branch of Social policy bank will be in charge of the disbursement for the peasants who borrow the preferential capital, basing on the commune People’s Committees-made list approved by district People’s Committees.
