In the morning of May 18, 2007 at the provincial People Committee’s head office, Vice-chairwoman of Binh Dinh province People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh and representatives of provincial functional bodies held a meeting with Mr. Ichiro Nakajima, Japanese Applied Science Association’s chief consultant in charge of the ODA fund.
This is the second time this association has visited Binh Dinh. Through the ODA fund, the association wanted to invest in building the waterworks under the province’s management. The profits from this project will be used to establish a charity fund for the healthcare of 250 people having the inborn heart attack in Binh Dinh. Simultaneously, the association also wanted to support for the construction of a university to meet the province’s demands of training, said Mr. Ichiro Nakajima.
Vice-chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh welcomed the association’s goodwill in cooperation and pledged that Binh Dinh will create the best conditions for the association. Binh also steered the provincial functional bodies to co-operate with the association to complete all regulated formalities.
On the same day, Mr. Ichiro Nakajima and other members of the association studied the location for the construction of the waterworks and university.
