Japanese Institute of New Technology Development studies to treat Binh Dinh’s water supply

Vice-chairwoman of Binh Dinh province People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh in the morning May 28 held a meeting with Mr. Hiromi Takeuchi - the general director in charge of new projects development under the Japanese Institute of New Technology Development at the head office of provincial People’s Committee. Representatives of provincial functional bodies attended the meeting.

Previously, he had been a representative of a non-governmental organisation and he had many times come to Binh Dinh voluntarily to study the water supply. Then when having results, he came to Binh Dinh as an Institute’s representative to cooperative with Binh Dinh in constructing and conducting the “Treat the polluted water supply in Binh Dinh” project, said Mr. H. Takeuchi.

Under the project, the Institute will be responsible for supporting equipments and technologies for the water supply treatment, preparing related documents as soon as possible, and canvassing sponsors from Japan under Vietnamese Government’s regulations on sponsorship.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh welcomed the Institute’s goodwill in cooperation for the support of projects on enhancing the people’s living standard in Binh Dinh. Vice-chairwoman Binh pledged that Binh Dinh would create best conditions for the Institute to prepare all necessary things for the project in Binh Dinh and submitted the project to the Government for approval in the earliest time.
