The Central Election Council the afternoon of May 29 has announced the results of the 12^th National Assembly (NA) election. 493 deputies were elected to the 12^th NA, of which 345 deputies were elected for the first time, 43 are non-Party members, and one is self-nominated. The total voters casting their ballots were 56,252,534, accounted for 99.64% of which valid votes recorded 55,802,444 (99.2%) and invalid votes were only 450,099 (barely 0.8%).

In Binh Dinh there were 3 constituencies with 1,182 polling stations. 1,009,725 voters cast their votes, accounted for 99.92%. According to the results, in Binh Dinh 8 candidates were elected to be 12^th NA deputies. At the polling station No1, three deputies were elected, including Vu Hoang Ha with valid votes accounted for 90.04%, Pham Thi Thanh Huong with 77.74%, and Tran Van Ban 53.59%. At the polling station No2, there were 3 qualified deputies, consisting of Ho Quoc Dung with 88.06%, Nguyen Viet Lenh 76.96%, Vo Thi Thuy 60.59%. At the polling station No3, two elected NA deputies are Nguyen Thanh Thuy with 72.06% of valid votes and Nguyen Dang Vang 55.09%.
