The Central Election Council the afternoon of May 29 has announced the results of the 12th National Assembly (NA) election. 493 deputies were elected to the 12th NA, of which 345 deputies were elected for the first time, 43 are non-Party members, and one is self-nominated. The total voters casting their ballots were 56,252,534, accounted for 99.64% of which valid votes recorded 55,802,444 (99.2%) and invalid votes were only 450,099 (barely 0.8%).
In Binh Dinh there were 3 constituencies with 1,182 polling stations. 1,009,725 voters cast their votes, accounted for 99.92%. According to the results, in Binh Dinh 8 candidates were elected to be 12th NA deputies. At the polling station No1, three deputies were elected, including Vu Hoang Ha with valid votes accounted for 90.04%, Pham Thi Thanh Huong with 77.74%, and Tran Van Ban 53.59%. At the polling station No2, there were 3 qualified deputies, consisting of Ho Quoc Dung with 88.06%, Nguyen Viet Lenh 76.96%, Vo Thi Thuy 60.59%. At the polling station No3, two elected NA deputies are Nguyen Thanh Thuy with 72.06% of valid votes and Nguyen Dang Vang 55.09%.
