Binh Dinh province People’s Committee on June 18 promulgated the Instruction No 01/2007/CT-UBND on strengthening the prevention and control of undersea telecom cable. Accordingly, chairman of city and districts in general, and coastal districts in particular steer related bodies and agencies to intensify the propaganda to enhance the local people’s awareness of the advantages and importance of the undersea optical cable so that they have a duty to join in the protection of the national information security and to denounce wrongdoings.
The provincial Culture and Information Department, the Binh Dinh broadcasting station and Binh Dinh newspaper promote the propaganda for the protection of the undersea optical fiber cable system to safely protect the national information and defense systems.
Related bodies and agencies regularly tighten the inspection to detect and have timely solutions for illegal undersea optical cable transportation, exploration and purchase cases.
