29,649 students took the first session of university entrance exams on July 4 in Quy Nhon city, accounting for 71.1 % compared to the number of registered students (12,049 students were absent). There are 10,606 students taking the exam for Quy Nhon university, recording at 72.32% in comparison with the number of registered students (6,013 students were absent).

On July 3 candidates were at the exam places in person to complete all necessary formalities. In the morning of July 4 they took the test in Mathematics and in the afternoon they did the multiple choice test in Physics. They will take the last test in Chemistry in the morning July 5.
