Petro Setco Co. registers to build a bio-ethanol plant in Binh Dinh Province

Vice-Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee Le Huu Loc on June 27 granted Petro Setco Co. a permision to survey for building a bio-ethanol plant project in Binh Dinh Province.

The Petro Setco Co. that forms a joint-venture to English Bronzeoak Group will carry on a survey to choose place for building plant in Tay Son District and Nhon Hoa Industrial Zone (An Nhon District).

According to the project, the bio-ethanol plant will invested USD 100 million for construction and produce 100 million litre of  ethanol per year, 120 ton per day of raw materials to process food for domestic animals. The main material to be used for production is cassava.

Petro Setco Co. hopes the project will contribute to provincial socio-economic develepment and improve locals’ life. They also spend roughly 35% to 40% investment to protect the local environment.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Managing Director of Petro Setco said thanks to its advantage in strategical position, Binh Dinh may become green-fuel centre of the whole country. That is aslo a main reason that Petro Setco Co. choose Binh Dinh for investment.
