The Congress of Binh Dinh Veterans’ Organization for the fourth term (2007-2012) was held on August 9 in Quy Nhon city. The Standing Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Mr. Pham Van Thanh, leaders of bodies and agencies, and 247 of 25,000 members of the organization attended the Congress.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Pham Van Thanh said that Binh Dinh veterans’ organisation was a reliable support for provincial Party, Government, and the People. The organisation fought for wrongdoings, enhancing the power of the united bloc. It was also against the corruption,  wastefulness, and social evils, and actively took part in building the cultured life in residential areas.

At the Congress, the fourth term-executive board consisting of 23 members was elected.
