Korean Jin Distillers Co. offers to build an etanol-factory in Binh Dinh Province

On 17 August, a Korean Jin Distillers Co. representative offered a plan to build an etanol-factory in BinhDinhProvince.

According to the plan, the etanol-factory will have expectation of invested capital USD 30 million, with wheat is a main raw material and its capcity is 30 million litres per year. Beside etanol, some sub-products such as carbon dioxide, cattle-feed, fertilizer etc. will also producted by the factory.

Mr. Vu Hoang Ha - Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People's Committee agreed on plan and promised to creat advantageous conditions for Jinro Distillers Co. to survey and set up a project.

However, Mr. Ha noted that, Korean Jin Distillers Co. will receive license from Binh Dinh Province People's Committee if they present a project of waste treatment and environment protection in conformity with Vietnamese standards.

Moreover, the company must form a policy to invest for raw materials region and sign commitment with local farmers to grow and buy their raw materials.

Mr. Kim Chong Sik, Managing director of Jinro Distillers committed to meet pronvincial demand and thanked Binh Dinh leaders to create favourable conditions for his company to carry out the plan in BinhDinhProvince.
