The Central Region Wind Power Joint Stock Company on September 12 kicked off the construction of Phuong Mai 3 wind power plant with a capacity of over 55 KWh per year in Cat Tien Commune of Phu Cat district.
The plant will be built on an area of 140 hectares in Cat Tien and Cat Chanh Communes (Phu Cat district) with the investment capital of US$35.7 million. Equipments will be put in a bid with sources of capital from foreign and domestic enterprises and banks. They include 14 turbines of FL-MD 77/1,500 KW and 14 transformers of 0.69/22 kV. When operating, the plant will provide the power for Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and Binh Dinh.
On this occasion, the Central Region Wind Power Joint Stock Company presented two houses of gratitude worth VND15 million each to two policy families in Cat Tien Commune and donated VND20 million to Cat Chanh Commune’s Fund for the Poor.
