Vice-Chairwoman of Binh Dinh province People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, and leaders of Binh Dinh Labor-War Invalids-Social Welfare Department, Education and Training Department, Quy Nhon University, and Binh Dinh’s Sponsoring Association for the Disabled and Orphans on September 13 received representatives of Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), an England-based non-government organisation, at the head office of Binh Dinh province People’s Committee.
At the reception, head of VSO’s representative office in Vietnam, Dario Gentili, briefly introduced VSO’s activities and expressed the hope that VSO’s experts and volunteers would come to Binh Dinh to help disabled children at some centers for disabled children and schools where there are disabled children learning.
VSO also hoped to support the vocational training, job creation, and social integration for the disabled.
Vice-Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh thanked VSO for their cooperation and hoped that the programme would be soon carried out in Binh Dinh.
