Permanent Vice-Chairman of Binh Dinh province People’s Committee, Nguyen Van Thien, on September 24 received Belgium-sponsored project appraisal delegation at the head office of Binh Dinh province People’s Committee.
Under the cooperation program between Vietnam and the Kingdom of Belgium, Binh Dinh was granted 5 million EURO to six projects.
Projects include the solid waste treatment in Districts of Hoai Nhon, Phu My, An Nhon, and Tay Son, the upgrade of Hoc Mon lake in Phu Cat District to supply the running water and water for the irrigation, and clean water supply for the south-east area of Phu Cat District and the east area of Tuy Phuoc District.
The delegation will study locations where projects will be conducted to appraise the information on the scale, practicability, and the number of people benefiting from the projects.
At the reception, Vice-Chairman Thien thanked for the cooperation goodwill and help of the Kingdom of Belgium, pledging that Binh Dinh would create all favorable conditions for projects to be conducted and contribute 10% of the corresponding capital to the ground clearance.
