Quy Nhon Urban Environment Co., Ltd and Binh Dinh Department of Environment and Natural Resources implemented the model of garbage classification in Quy Nhon city.

The project worth 255.955 million VND will be carried out in six months. The rubbish will be classified into two main categories, including organic garbage and inorganic garbage.

572 households in Thi Nai ward will participate in the trial run for the new model. They have been trained in the classification of organic, inorganic garbage, as well as the significance of the project since October.

The garbage classification aims to raise the community’s awareness about environmental sanitation, natural resources saving, and environmental pollution reduction.
