Four agricultural co-operatives join co-operative development program

Four agricultural co-operatives in Binh Dinh, including De Duc, Nhon Tho 2, Binh Dinh town, and Phu Phong 1, were selected to join Canadian Co-operative Association-sponsored co-operative development program in Vietnam.

These co-operatives will be aided in improving the infrastructure, management, and business operation. At present, a capital of 8,750 CAD has been provided for Nhon Tho 2 co-operative to build a pig’s food processing farm. De Duc was also provided with 10,188 CAD to develop a credit project and mushroom production.

Binh Dinh is one of 8 provinces and cities selected to join the program which has been implemented from 2008-12.
