Provincial Chairman receives New Zealand’s Ambassador

Chairman of Binh Dinh provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thien on November 25 received New Zealand’s Ambassador to Vietnam James Kamber and his entourage.

Thien expressed the deep gratitude for the New Zealand Government’s help in implementing maternal and child health, early childhood care and education (ECCE), and Vietnam Land Administration (VLAP) projects.

He also briefed on Binh Dinh’s potential of socio-economic development. Two sides talked about the proposal for the sustainable rural livelihood project.

Provincial Chairman promised to steer relevant bodies to carry out all activities of the project.

Mr. Kamber thanked provincial leaders for their reception, affirming the close cooperation between two Governments.

New Zealand’s International Aid and Development Agency’s delegation on November 26 held a meeting with provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and relevant bodies on the proposal for the sustainable rural livelihood project in Binh Dinh.
