Fresenius Kabi Bidiphar JSC opens

A ceremony was held on December 1 to announce the establishment of Fresenius Kabi Bidiphar JSC. Provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of Fresenius Kabi Asia Pacific Ltd Luc Potter, and CEO of Fresenius Kabi Bidiphar JSC Jan Walter attended the ceremony.

Fresenius Kabi Bidiphar JSC was established with the investment capital of US$10 million in the first phase. It is a joint venture between German-based Fresenius Kabi Group and Bidiphar Company, Vietnam.

In the first phase, Fresenius Kabi Bidiphar will specialize in injectable drug, nutritious products, and infusion therapies. It will focus on other types of drugs and home health care services in the second phase.

At the ceremony, director of Binh Dinh Department of Planning and Investment Le Van Tam granted the license to its representative. Fresenius Kabi also presented three ambulances to Binh Dinh.

Fresenius Kabi is the leader in health care. It now has 120,000 employees worldwide and a global network of 150 production sites. Fresenius Kabi achieved sales of EURO11.4 billion in 2007.
