The 43rd anniversary of Deo Nhong-Duong Lieu victory was solemnly held on February 11.
At the ceremony, Chairman of Phu My District People's Committee Tran Dinh Thoi reviewed the victory. Binh Dinh's people and soldiers suddenly attacked Duong Lieu military post 43 years ago (1965). At Deo Nhong, people and soldiers defeated the enemy. The victory partly contributed to defeat the "special war" carried out by the American troops in South Vietnam.
Also, on this occasion, many activities and sporting events were held, attracting thousands of people.
