SOS children village to be built in Quy Nhon

Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh Province People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs cum Chairman of SOS Children Village-Vietnam, Dam Huu Dac, and national director of Vietnam SOS Children Village, Do Tien Dung on February 13.

At the meeting, they talked about the construction of an SOS children village in Quy Nhon city. Deputy Minister Dac briefed on the information on SOS Children Village – International and Vietnam.

There are 13 SOS children village for 2,715 disadvantaged children nationwide. The construction of an SOS children village in Binh Dinh not only helps disadvantaged children but creates social effects.

The SOS children village expected to be built on an area of 5-7 hectares with the capital of nearly VND40 billion, including a residential complex with many families, offices, kindergarten, high schools, and vocational school.

Vice Chairwoman Binh affirmed that Binh Dinh would create the most favorable conditions for the construction of SOS children village.
