HMIS to be installed at Van Canh health center

The Health Management Information System (HMIS) will be installed at medical center of Van Canh District in the first quarter of 2008, according to the management board of the project ‘Maternal and Child Health in Binh Dinh’ (code VIE/03/P20). Initially, the expenditure for equipment is worth VND300 million.

Until now, HMIS has been installed at eight health centers, including Phu Phong General Hospital, Bong Son General Hospital, and health centers of Quy Nhon city, An Nhon, Hoai Nhon, Vinh Thanh, and Van Canh.

HMIS is expected to help manage patients, medical reports, drugs, hospital fees, children, and mothers-to-be.
