Many traditional festivals to be held

Binh Dinh Province People's Committee has approved the plan for holding craft village and eating and drinking festivals under Tay Son-Binh Dinh 2008 Festival.

Under the plan, many activities will be held at center square of Quy Nhon city from July 29 to August 3, including traditional craft performance and community cultural activities.

An area for trade promotion, exhibition and fair will be held with the participation of nearly 200 enterprises.

Binh Dinh food and drink program to introduce specialities such as banh xeo (rice pancake folded in half (and filled with a shrimp, meat and soya bean sprouts), Cho Huyen fermented pork roll, and other dishes will also take place.

Some central and central highlands provinces are expected to attend to introduce their specialities.
