Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh held a meeting with Deputy Secretary General of SOS Children's Villages, Siddhartha Kaul, and Director of International SOS Children Village Project on March 16.

There are now 569 disadvantaged children in Binh Dinh. Provincial People’s Committee, therefore, asked SOS Children Village International to aid Binh Dinh in building an SOS Children Village for homeless children.

As planned, Quy Nhon SOS Children Village would include 14 houses, 1 kindergarten, and 1 high school. The construction was expected to start before the rainy season, said Mr. Siddhartha Kaul.

Vice Chairwoman Binh affirmed that Binh Dinh will create the best conditions for the project. After the meeting, the delegation carried out the survey to choose the location for the construction.
