Deputy Minister inspects avian flu prevention in Binh Dinh

Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thien and leaders of functional bodies and agencies held a meeting with the delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Bui Ba Bong on March 29.

 

Reports stated that Binh Dinh has effectively dominated the poultry epidemic and avian flu. Province People’s Committee also steered functional bodies to promote the propaganda to enhance the people’s awareness of poultry epidemic and avian flu.

 

Provincial leaders also asked for more equipment and favorable policies to carry out the control and prevention of avian flu.

 

Bong highly appreciated Binh Dinh’s prevention and control of poultry epidemic and avian flu. He asked provincial leaders to steer bodies to intensify their activities, quickly carrying out measures to prevent human cases of avian influenza A (H5N1).
