The high-ranking delegation of Laos’ Champassak province, headed by Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Savang Sihavong and leaders of Champassak’s functional bodies paid a visit to Binh Dinh on April 7.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Pham Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee Le Huu Loc, and leaders of provincial bodies received the delegation.

At the reception, Thanh hailed the delegation and affirmed that the visit would better the relationship between two sides.

He also briefed on Binh Dinh’s socio-economic situation and results of cooperation programmes and projects between Champassak and Binh Dinh.

Also, representatives of provincial bodies and agencies shared experiences in organising and building the poverty-alleviation model, breeding, and forest protection.

Mr Savang Sihavong expressed many thanks to Binh Dinh’s authorities and people and said that the experiences would help further Champassak’s socio-economic development in the coming time.
