Vinh Son-Song Hinh Hydroelectric Joint Stock Company and Vinh Son Investment Joint Stock Company held a kick-off ceremony of three hydroelectric projects, Vinh Son 3, 4, and 5, in Vinh Son Commune, Vinh Thanh District, on April 27.
Vice Chairman of Office of the Vietnam National Assembly Tran Ngoc Duong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Pham Van Thanh, and Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thien attended the ceremony.
Three projects, including 32-MW Vinh Son 3 project, 18-MW Vinh Son 4, and 28-MW Vinh Son 5, will be built on the Kon river in Vinh Son Commune, Vinh Thanh District.
The construction of three hydroelectric projects will ensure the national energy security and other activities in the west of Binh Dinh.
The projects plan to be conducted from 2008 to 2011. Vinh Son 2 hydroelectric project is also expected to start later with the capital of VND2,300 billion.
