Binh Dinh to join project of improving experimental capacity, supervising infectious diseases

The Prime Minister has promulgated the document on approving the Ministry of Health to carry out the project of improving the experimental capacity, supervising infectious diseases in Nha Trang Pasteur Institute and Binh Dinh province in the 2008-2010 period.

Paris Pasteur Institute plans to sponsor the project with the non-refundable aid from France Development Cooperation Agency. The Ministry of Health and bodies will contribute the corresponding capital and the workforce.

The project will focus on improving the laboratory in Nha Trang Pasteur Institute to accurately diagnose the virus-caused encephalitis and petechival fever, promoting the investigation and observation of epidemiology in Binh Dinh, sharing experiences in the international network of Pasteur Institute to find and deal with the diseases in the region, and suggesting solutions.
