Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism Day marked
17:55', 22/6/ 2008 (GMT+7)

A ceremony to celebrate 83 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2008) was held in Quy Nhon city on June 20. Provincial Chairman Vu Hoang Ha and Chairman of Binh Dinh Fatherland Front Committee Truong Dinh Tan attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Chairman of Binh Dinh Journalist Association Tran Trung Kien delivered a speech reviewing 83 years of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism and its development.

All kinds of newspapers in Binh Dinh have strongly developed in the past time, contributing to the socio-economic development. The journalism also plays as a bridge connecting local authorities and the people as well as Binh Dinh and other provinces and countries.

Provincial Chairman Ha, on behalf of provincial leaders, congratulated all journalists and staff working for newspapers in Binh Dinh. He acknowledged their contributions but also showed their drawbacks.

He emphasized that Binh Dinh’s mass media must do better its function, effectively propagandizing the policies and directions of the State and Party in the coming time.

He asked for more articles about the “Study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” campaign and propaganda for solutions to dominate the inflation, stabilize the macroeconomic, and ensure the sustainable development.

Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee always create favorable conditions for the development of newspapers in Binh Dinh.
