Bui Thi Xuan Temple inaugurated

The inauguration ceremony of Bui Thi Xuan temple was held on July 10 in Tay Son District. Former Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of provincial People’s Council Nguyen Xuan Duong; Permanent Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee Pham Van Thanh; Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh attended the ceremony.

Bui Thi Xuan temple was built on an area of 5,191 sq.m with the capital of VND3.97 billion, including VND2 billion from the budget, and the rest sponsored by Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.

It consists of three sanctums. The statue of Bui Thi Xuan is in the central sanctum and two are used for other purposes.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman Binh, on behalf of provincial leaders and the people, expressed many thanks for Agribank’s sponsorship. She affirmed that the temple played a key role in honoring Bui Thi Xuan, a famous figure in Vietnamese history.

Bui Thi Xuan temple was an important work responding to Tay Son – Binh Dinh Festival. It was expected to become an attractive destination to build the national pride and educate the patriotic tradition, she added.
