The Government has allocated VND103 billion to Binh Dinh for supporting fishermen in building fishing vessels and buying insurance policies for vessels and those who work on vessels. Fishermen will also be aided in buying oil and other facilities, according to Binh Dinh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The allocation was carried out under the Resolution No 289/QD-TTg on supporting ethnic minorities, policy and poor households, and fishermen.

Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and local authorities plan to allocate the expenditure to fishermen in July.
