78 percent of rural people use clean water

Binh Dinh has been invested VND32 billion in building the clean water supply in rural areas for three year (2006-2008), according to the rural water supply and environmental sanitation project under the national target program for rural water supply and environmental sanitation.

The construction of water supply systems has been carried out in some areas in Districts of Tuy Phuoc, Phu Cat, Tay Son, Phu My, and An Lao, and three communes in An Nhon District.

The water supply system worth VND25 billion has been built in the east-north of Tuy Phuoc District since 2007.

At present, 78 percent of rural people in Binh Dinh are able to use clean water.
