The opening ceremony of Tay Son – Binh Dinh Festival is to be held at the square in front of Quy Nhon Trade Center on August 1.
Deputy PM Nguyen Thien Nhan; Minister of Public Security Le Hong Anh; provincial leaders; and the others will attend the ceremony.
After the opening ceremony will be an art performance, introducing the most distinctive features of Binh Dinh’s land and people.
In the morning of the same day, other ceremonies took place at Quang Trung Museum, including the incense and flowers offering to the Tay Son Tam Kiet shrine.
The three-day festival will include many festivities, such as the nigh festival of flower garlands and colored lanterns on Thi Nai lagoon, the night of poems and music, and the final night of Miss Martial Lands Pageant.
