The 10th Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Council opened the 12th session on August 19 in Quy Nhon City.
19 reports were presented by Chairman of provincial People’s Committee and leaders of some bodies and agencies.
They mentioned the socio-economic development in the first 6 months of 2008 and tasks for the next 6 months, plans and investment as well as directions for the development.
Reports also suggested the modification, supplement, and abrogation of some fees and charges, the approval of the project on developing transportation in Binh Dinh till 2020, the planning of health sector in Binh Dinh to 2010 and vision 2020.
The establishment of Binh Dinh Ophthalmology Hospital, the program of building schools and houses for teachers in the 2008-2012 period, the corruption prevention, and tasks and solutions were also reported.
Reports referring to other issues and some suggestions of provincial Fatherland Front Committee were presented in the session.
Participants also focused on reports of provincial People’s Court and provincial People’s Procuracy as well as other important reports.
