Many scholarships presented to poor students

8 disadvantaged students who got good academic results in Le Quy Don gifted high school were presented 8 scholarships worth US$300 each.

General Director of TGE taegwang E&C Company, Lee Young Woo, announced scholarships at the opening ceremony of the 2008-2009 academic year held at Le Quy Don gifted high school on September 4.

Le Quy Don gifted high school was also aided with $3,600 to buy educational facilities used in teaching and learning.

Representative of Sai Gon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank’s Binh Dinh branch on September 4 granted 10 “Sacombank – Nurturing dreams” scholarships to 12th graders of Le Quy Don gifted high school.

More 30 similar scholarships will be presented to 30 twelfth graders of Tang Bat Ho high school, An Nhon 2 high school, and Quang Trung high school.
