Phu Tai IZ area increases

The Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung decided to increase the area of Phu Tai industrial zone from 328 to 341 hectares on Jan. 15, according to the Government portal.

Phu Tai IZ was established on Dec. 18, 1998 with the area of 188 ha. In the first phase, it covered an area of 80 ha. It had an area of 108 ha in the second and third phases.

Phu Tai IZ was extended by 140 ha to the south, aiming to meet the investors’ demand.

At present, over 100 projects have been registered to invest in Phu Tai IZ with the capital of VND 1 trillion, contributing to strengthen the province’s socio-economic development.
