Binh Dinh Department of Trade and Industry on Oct. 6 held a meeting to review the industrial production and commercial activities in 9 months and implement key tasks in the fourth quarter and 2010’s plan.

The reports said the province’s industrial production in nine months has showed signs of recovery. Also, the Government’s stimulus package contributed to help businesses lower the price and boost the competitiveness.

Accordingly, the industrial production value in 9 months increased by 5 percent compared with the same period last year, accounting for 60 percent of yearly target.

Industrial zones and craft villages have attracted more investment and fully operated. Functional bodies have continued to focus on investment promotion, trade fraud, and market management.

Attending the meeting, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Le Huu Loc steered the trade and industry sector to carry out some key measures in the fourth quarter, focusing on helping businesses overcome the storm aftermath and boosting industrial production and goods export.
