Binh Dinh General Hospital on Oct. 10 held a workshop on the mental disorder treatment in Quy Nhon city.
Representatives of hospitals and many experts on psychiatry, surgery, and mental health attended the event.
The history of mental disorder treatment is closely related to many fields, particularly mental health, pharmacology, and psychiatry.
In Vietnam, however, there are still many different points of view on the issue.
At the workshop, participants also talked about the reports presented by Dr Tran Huu Binh, director of Bach Mai Hospital’s National Institute of Mental Health, Dr Nguyen Van Tho, and Dr Pham Ty.
Advantages, disadvantages as well as viewpoints on mental disorder treatment were discussed during the workshop.
