A full-term review of Programme on Strengthening Environmental Management and Land Administration (SEMLA) in Binh Dinh was held in Quy Nhon city.

The programme has been effectively implemented in Binh Dinh in the past three years. The SEMLA’s eight projects have been almost fulfilled, helping local authorities and functional bodies improve the capacity in environment and land management.

Also, the staff in the natural resources and environment sector had a chance to improve their qualifications and experiences thanks to the programme.

The “cleaner production”, one of eight projects, contributed to the prevention of environmental pollution and poverty reduction.

The management board asked the provincial People’s Committee to continue implementing the projects which proved effective on a larger scale.
