The province’s exporters have still strived to maintain their operation effectively despite negative effects caused by the financial crisis and global economic regression.

Accordingly to Binh Dinh Department of Industry and Trade, the export turnover in October was estimated to reach 23 million USD, a surge of 82.5 percent against September.

However, the province’s export turnover is slightly lower than the level of 12 percent in October last year. And the figure for the first ten months was nearly 256 million USD, a decrease of 21.3 percent compared to the same period last year.

The highest increase was seen in foreign-invested businesses with the export turnover value of 6.1 percent.
