More aid pours in for Ketsana victims

The charity under the Buddhist Sangha of HCM City’s District 6 on Oct. 25 presented 500 gifts to victims of typhoon Ketsana in communes of Tam Quan Nam and Tam Quan Bac.

The relief aid is expected to be pumped through Hoai Nhon district’s Red Cross.

The delegation from Binh Duong province’s Di An district coordinated with Binh Dinh Ethnic Minority Board on Oct. 24 visited and presented gifts to Bana ethnic minority group in Vinh Hoa commune of Vinh Thanh district, one of storm-hit localities in Binh Dinh.

Van Canh district’s Labour Federation also presented gifts to five victims who were injured in the storm and two labor union members who are now suffering fatal diseases.

Also, Van Canh district’s Fatherland Front Committee offered relief aid to five families whose members are storm victims.
