French Red Cross offers relief aid to storm victims
16:14', 10/11/ 2009 (GMT+7)

The French Red Cross offered the relief aid worth over VND2.6 billion, including 220 tons of rice, 1,000 packages of household commodities, and 2,000 pieces of canvas for the central province of Binh Dinh, aiming to help its storm victims overcome the storm aftermath.

The relief aid is expected to be pumped through the Binh Dinh Red Cross.

The locals in disaster-hit districts of Phu Cat, Hoai Nhon, Tay Son, Tuy Phuoc, An Nhon, and some areas of Quy Nhon city have received the relief aid from November 2-12.

Ketsana victims, particularly the elderly, homeless people, under-five-year-old children, disabled people, mothers-to-be, and some disadvantaged people will be given top priority.
