Hy Vong (Hope) school for the disabled aged from 6 to 16 started its first academic year yesterday (Nov. 16) after it was established on January 7.
About 80 disabled children enrolled in 10 classes this school year, including six classes for the hearing-impaired.
Speaking at the ceremony, provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh affirmed the province’s leaders always create favorable conditions for the school.
She also expressed the hope that its teachers and students will overcome initial difficulties to improve the teaching and learning.
